It's a fun deck idea, but I think you're trying to be a bit too cute. If the Helix gets destroyed or discarded, I run into problems. My deck pretty much relies on casting Gifts Ungiven to set up a combo. This deck seems to have the same issues that my pet deck (Spellweaver Helix) has, you open yourself up to card disadvantage and inconsistency. On the other hand, if you wanted to use it in a more control shell (making Mastery less expensive) then you may as well just run Time Warp instead. In an aggressive deck, you want to keep up pressure and not tap out turn 3 for a destructible card that doesn't change anything when you cast it. If you want to use it aggressively (ie- make Hero 2 mana) than you're better off just playing an aggressive deck and casting Hero for 4. However, I think it's just a little too slow and you're pretty inconsistent. Now I like what you're doing here, really fun idea. You make specific points and questions and, as a mod here, I really appreciate that. Too many people just post deck lists and beg for help. Just want to start by saying thank you for actually putting effort into this post.
